NSDAP Member Badge
Front of an original Nsdap badge. It is not ade of aluminium and the Swastica is wide. It is of the emallied kind.
The back of the same badge. The pin is not made from aluminum and the badge feels heavy. The "Hersteller" code "RZM M1/148" can be clearly seen. There are also pitting and wear. The RZM coding is a fully circled M.

The M1 indicates Badge producer. The /148 is the markings of Heinr.ulbricth.Witwe in vienna.

Poor picture, but it shows how the M below the R and Z continues in a circle.

The L and S in the letters are very close to each other. A Feature seen on fakes is a larger distance between the L and S in the text.
The badge at the left is a reproduction, the one to the righ is an original. The difference in the spacing between thw L and S (top left) can clearly be seen.

The badge at the left is not a fake, but a replica. It becomes a fake when someone tries to sell it as an original item.
